Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs)

Prof. Dr. Azizuddin is the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International) at Universiti Utara Malaysia and a Professor of Politics and International Relations. His expertise includes democratisation, media politics, human rights, and Southeast Asian affairs. He is an Associate Member of the Malaysia Institute at ANU, an Adjunct Professor at Universitas Sriwijaya, and a columnist for Berita Harian and Sin Chew Jit Poh. He has also served as a Visiting Fellow at ISEAS–Yusof Ishak Institute, Singapore, and Visiting Professor at NIDA, Thailand.

Prof. Dr. İncilay Cangöz is a faculty member at the Department of Journalism, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Anadolu University. She has held various administrative positions, including Head of Department and Director of the Center for Women’s Studies. She was also a visiting professor at the Department of Culture and Media at New York University. Her research interests primarily focus on gender and media, mass communication theories, and journalism.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hassan Raza Syed, Associate Professor at Taylor’s University, holds a PhD in Communication from Universiti Utara Malaysia. He researches health, environmental, and crisis communication, publishing widely in indexed journals and teaching courses in media writing and communication theory.
